This page is a public summary, not a contractual subprocessor schedule. Vendor configuration can change as KRKB maintains the service. Schools and libraries can request a current list during invoice, PO, or agreement review.

Hosting, storage, and CDN
DigitalOcean Spaces/CDN asset hosting; production infrastructure may include related hosting services.
Run KRKB, serve images/assets, store application data, and keep pages available.
Email delivery
Laravel mail providers may include Mailgun, Postmark, or Amazon SES depending on environment.
Send account, parent, security, and program emails.
AI model providers
Google Gemini, Groq, OpenAI, and xAI/Grok are configured as model provider options.
Support moderation, Astra guidance, catalog enrichment, and feature-specific AI tasks.
Security and spam protection
Cloudflare Turnstile is configured for challenge/anti-abuse support.
Reduce automated abuse and protect public forms.
Book metadata and discovery
Google Books, Hardcover, Goodreads, ISBNdb, and public book sources may be used where configured.
Search books, fill metadata, improve shelves, reviews, quizzes, and discovery.
Authentication and account support
Google OAuth is configured for sign-in where enabled.
Support account creation or login paths.
Image tooling
Filerobot is referenced for image upload/editing tools.
Help users manage profile images or visual assets where enabled.
Analytics and cookies
Google Analytics may be used only when cookie consent allows it.
Understand site usage without overriding cookie preferences.
Outbound services are different
KRKB may link readers or families to external book, library, or retailer pages such as Libby, Sora, Hoopla, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble. Those services are governed by their own terms when a user chooses to leave KRKB.
