Book review rubric
Book understanding
Names the book clearly and shows what the reader understood.
Summarizes every detail or gives spoilers without explaining why it matters.
Recommendation
Explains who might enjoy the book and why.
Only says “it was good” without helping another reader.
Evidence
Uses one specific moment, character, topic, or writing choice.
Stays vague or unrelated to the book.
Safety and respect
Uses kind language and no personal information.
Includes private details, insults, or unsafe language.
Quiz rubric
Accuracy
Questions and answers match the book.
Questions are unrelated or misleading.
Clarity
Answer choices are easy to understand.
Choices are confusing or too similar by accident.
Challenge
Questions make readers remember details or ideas.
Every question is too obvious or only asks the title.
Safety
No private information, unsafe links, or inappropriate content.
Includes private or inappropriate content.
Story rubric
Beginning
Introduces a character, setting, or problem.
Starts without enough context.
Development
Something changes, builds, or gets solved.

Voice
